The Fader threw a party last week to celebrate Fader Fort and the release of their first-ever photography book.

Held at the unique and innovative Compound Gallery in the Bronx, Fader Fort Setting the Stage took place last Thursday night. Compound NYC was quickly filled to the brim with writers, influencers and hip hop tastemakers alike. The space was transformed into an art gallery showcasing the standout photography featured in Fader Fort: Setting The Stage. Photographers whose work was showcased includes Kyle Dean Reinford, Ethan Holland, Mary Kang, Roger Kisby, Jesse Lirola, and Ryan Muir.

Upon entering the space guests were greeted by a quote from Diddy about Fader Fort. The wall was plastered with legendary photography captured over the past 15 years, the space included an open bar and a merch table where guests could purchase the photography book for 20% retail price. A few select walls featured quotes from Fader Fort: Setting The Stage from Diddy and Damon Albarn.

The Fader co-founder Rob Stone said their intention to hold the event at the Compound, that too in the Bronx was premeditated and carefully thought out. “For us to be able to have the FADER FORT photography book and bring it to the Compound up in the Bronx to share it with people that truly appreciate and have an affinity for art and for the culture means the world to us,” says Rob Stone. “We want to continue doing that, we want to continue working with Compound and Set Free in elevating the culture and hopefully continue to inspire true artistry. Check out the book available for purchase here.
