On Monday, February 11th Veronica Beard put on a stunning presentation to share her FW’19 collection for NYFW. Unlike most fashion shows, Veronica Beard treated guests somewhat of a fashion wonderland titled “The Great Haute-doors.”
Models stood in a beautifully staged forest, dressed in the FW’19 Veronica Beard collection and glammed by Bobbi Brown, Essie, and Moroccanoil. The look was a very soft glam with hints of pink eye shadow and a “layered pink” manicure. The hair styling embraced each model’s natural texture.
Cassandra Garcia for Bobbi Brown using ‘Haute Nudes Edition Palette’ by Bobbi Bown cosmetics. The monochromatic pink look went in theme with “outdoors” theme of the presentation. “Nothing is too perfect, everything is just pretty and chic.” shared Garcia.
Julie Kandalec for Essie designed a natural layered pink manicure. Using Essie colors Cascade cool, Minimalistic, and Mademoiselle to create a smooth, natural pink manicure.
Lastly, Kevin Hughes for Moroccanoil styled each model using their natural texture. “The look was inspired by a city-chic woman who has been dropped in the middle of the woods,” said Kevin Hughes.
While models with curly hair flaunted their natural hair, others were styled with a chic low ponytail. Some texture was added to the hair using the Moroccanoil Professional Series Titanium Curling Iron. For some added style a piece of fabric was placed around an elastic and knotted to create a one-sided bow.
The overall theme of the Veronica Beard FW’19 presentation came together beautifully. I look forward to trying these looks on myself.
