Ken Carson closed out Rolling Loud Weekend with surprise guests and unreleased music.
Rolling Loud Day 3 started off calm and gradually snowballed into the most legendary night of the festival weekend. In addition to the groundbreaking performances, this year’s Rolling Loud featured a variety of activations including multiple carnival rides like a ferris wheel, Hennessy Social Club for premium views of the main stage, Sherb Skatepark and the Backwoods Record shop. Press were also allowed access into the VIP areas which included better views of the stage, Bunny’s Bae Bar glam station, Loud Cuts barbershop and the ED Hardy tattoo parlor.
Bringing out surprise guests was a common theme this festival season as many artists including Yung Fazo, Tia Corine, 1300SAINT and Ken Carson brought out special guests. Yung Fazo had the most surprise guests out of any other performer last weekend. He brought out Tezzus and Diamond* as well as PZ, Lil Righteous, Eat J and Percaso. BossMan Dlow surprised guests with Hurricane Wisdom, Nardo Wick and Wopp, While Sexyy Red brought out Pluto.

We caught up with Tia Corine in the press compound where she revealed that later in the day she would be previewing an unreleased record featuring 1900Rugrat and bring him onstage to perform the collaboration together. Additionally she also announced that she’ll be hosting a Boiler Room Set later this summer.
A popular surprise guest this Rolling Loud was Young Thug. He supported many acts by showing love backstage and even came on stage to support YSL signee 1300SAINT. Not only that, he made an appearance onstage during Ken Carson’s closing set as well.

Ken Carson replaced NBA Youngboy after a last-minute cancellation and proved himself as a necessary headliner by the end of the festival. In addition to bringing out Young Thug to perform “Digits”, Carson also brought out Lil Tecca to perform “Tic Tac Toe.” He performed 4 unreleased tracks including: “Boil,” “Hiya,” “Grow Apart,” and “Xperiment” off of his upcoming album The Xperiment and shared a remix of 2Hollis’ record “Girl.” However, the show stopping moment had to be when Carson played two unreleased Carti features including “ARP” and “Cover My Ears.” This viral moment had fans going crazy over unreleased Carti music. Overall Rolling Loud was a huge success and even better than originally planned.
