On September 7th, designer Minh Le unveiled her highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection from her couture line, 831MINHLE.
Where better to debut your designs than one of fashion’s most iconic addresses, thanks to its often-seen filming location on a little show called Sex and the City. Right before the runway took place, it was mentioned that on the same street outside The Walker Hotel that Carrie and crew strutted in the original series (so yes, Samantha was there too), Minh Le’s designs took center stage as models walked the catwalk.
The runway show was sponsored by Fashion Mingle and Planet Fashion TV and drew a crowd of invite-only fashion insiders, celebrities, and influencers.
This season also marked Minh Le’s debut in men’s tailoring. Her menswear collection, with its sleek lines and bold colors, puts a modern twist on classic designs.
The collection featured playful pops of bright colors — for both men and women — along with peek-a-boo silhouettes and daring cuts.
Minh Le’s meticulous attention to detail and cohesive aesthetic seamlessly ties the entire collection together, offering something for both men and women who value style, elegance, and individuality. The invite mentioned that the collection was inspired by Coach Dawn Staley (head coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team).
“Like Coach Dawn Staley, we are driven by winning in style,” said Minh Le. “There are no fashion rules when you are confidently yourself. Our collection embodies what it takes to pivot wherever life takes you-whether it’s grinding through the day or unwinding at night.”
Minh Le’s collections reflect her understanding of the modern woman — strong, dynamic, and multifaceted. Her designs empower women to feel confident, independent, and unapologetically themselves. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a celebration of these values, with every piece telling a story of strength, diversity, and self-expression.
Vietnamese designer Minh Le began her career by helping women. She taught the artistry of sewing to women in Vietnam to help them support their families and has continued to build her brand around women’s empowerment. She moved to the United States in 1994 and began creating her own unique designs in her atelier in South Carolina.
Minh Le is one of a few designers based in the American South presenting at NYFW. Minh’s custom couture gowns and suits are created with sustainability in mind and attention to detail. 831 MINHLE is a brand that exemplifies bold and feminine ideals through a fresh and elegant aesthetic grounded in supreme craftsmanship.
