Cristian Siriano is one of the most prominent designers presenting during NYFW with one of the most anticipated runway shows of the season. Siriano is known for being an inclusive designer who brings high fashion to women of all shapes and sizes. With TRESemmé being an advocate for inclusivity, it comes as no surprise that Siriano and TRESemmé came together for this NYFW season.
TRESemmé’s NYFW Stylist, Odile Gilbert was behind the fun and sexy hairstyle that strutted down the Cristian Siriano SS20 Runway. The “Gigi Braid,” inspired by Gigi Hadid, was the perfect look to go alongside Siriano’s “Ready-to-wear” ss20 collection. Odile shared, “Of course I love when Gigi’s hair is down, but there’s something very elegant and pure about it, and I love it.” The slicked back ponytail or braid is one of those looks that seem easy but can be tricky to accomplish so Odile shared her secret. “This look is chic yet playful. The secret is not tying the ponytail too high on the head and using a texturizing mousse to prep the hair. My favorite is TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Mousse, which keeps everything in place but with movement so that it feels effortless and natural.” ‘The Gigi Braid’ was one of my favorite styles at NYFW this season.
