From Kim and Kanye to Chrissy and John, Hollywood’s A-List celeb couples were lit in celebration of the spooky season. By lit, I mean their pumpkins of course. Along with theirs, 1000’s of hand-carved Jack O’Lanterns illuminate the King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas for a family-friendly Halloween experience.
What would normally be a walking trail has been reimagined this year as a contactless drive-thru attraction to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The Knockturnal was there at the VIP preview event that consisted of a slew of celebs in attendance from inside the safety of their vehicles. Even a drive-thru step and repeat was available for cars to stop and talent to take pictures from their windows.

Upon arrival to the ranch, cars are given a station to tune into while being ushered through different lanes. You’ll hear the Monster Mash, Thriller, or other classic Halloween music playing as you navigate through the ranch. It almost feels like you’re in a 50’s drive-in except your car moves through the trail and you see all the lit up pumpkins as you go along.
As we continue on with the pandemic and normal activities are still limited it’s nice that Nights of The Jack adapted to the situation and made it work for Angelenos to enjoy a Halloween activity. Yeah, normal theme park haunts might be canceled this year but there are still great alternatives to enjoy with your family.
Nights of The Jack runs until Nov. 1 and is located at King Gillette Ranch (26800 Mulholland Highway) in Calabasas. Tickets for the drive-thru experience are $69 per vehicle and can be found here.
