South Korean singer-songwriter Kang Daniel returned to Los Angeles at the Palace Theatre for the first time in over two and a half years, reclaiming the stage with his latest tour, ACT: NEW EPISODE.
“Rock has always been in my blood,” says New York-based musician and meditation practitioner ShiShi. “I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses… but as a shy, introverted kid who moved countries every few years, I found my voice in solitude. Making beats on my laptop felt safe.”
Creative agency Wild Honey Pie and soda brand Spindrift hosted a Pizza Party at Paulie Gee’s last week, complete with a constant stream of unlimited freshly-baked pizza (with several amazing vegan options), as well as a sampling of various partnered brands, such as the delightful Grillo’s Pickles and the tantalizing Maker’s Mark whiskey, among others. The highlight of the night, however, was an intimate private concert performed by alt-pop singer BENEE, who enticed fans with glimpses into her upcoming album.
