Matt James has proudly partnered with the superb Danone to make a world of difference.
The American television personality, philanthropist, and entrepreneur who was on the “Bachelor” has now joined with the company to continue his work which focuses on his non-profit, ABC Food Tours. The news came at a lively event celebrating the moment of launch in New York City.
Thousands of kids in low-income neighborhoods across New York now can benefit with programs focused on health and wellness, financial literacy and mentorship even more with the recent backing of Danone
The purpose-driven Danone North America (one of the largest Certified B Corporations®) is proudly working with Matt and ABC Food Tours. Together they will work to help replenish and diversify food options at New York City schools’ pantries this summer by donating thousands of units of products from its So Delicious and Silk brands. We hope you enjoyed learning about the dynamic, sustainable, and delicious brands that fall under Danone.
This is in addition to other positive news when Danone previously announced that we are making available in the U.S. an additional 500,000 cans of Neocate specialized medical infant formula, through our Nutricia business. These cans, shipped from our FDA-registered manufacturing facilities in Europe, are in addition to steps we have already taken to increase production and more than double our imports to the United States of our Neocate medical formula.”
“In response to baby formula shortages in the United States, we are continuing our extra efforts to meet this critical need for American families.
Danone has finalized plans, in conjunction with the FDA, to bring 750,000 cans of Aptamil non-medical baby formula – which translates to more than 18 million 8-oz bottles – into the United States to help mitigate the nationwide formula shortage. Aptamil is backed by over 50 years of advanced breastmilk research and is the number one formula brand in the United Kingdom and Europe. Through the collaboration with the FDA, this shipment will land in the US by the end of the month and start to hit shelves in July.
Here is to the good work that is making a positive change in the world today.
