Pepsi provided another unforgettable outdoor concert experience during the VMAs with their Downtown Los Angeles Stage Presented by Pepsi. The concert took place outside the Orpheum Theatre to over 2000 fans, and featured performances from Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato with surprise guest Iggy Azalea, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performed their newest single “Downtown” with Kool Moe Dee and Grandmaster Caz.
Demi Lovato gave her first VMAs performance and it was one to remember. She sang “Cool for the Summer” while floating through the audience in an inflatable raft and brought out surprise guest Iggy Azalea, who shocked the crowd. John Legend, shortly after accepting his award, headed over to the Pepsi Stage to introduce Pharrell Williams who sang “Freedom” while the crowd waved with flags.
