On Oct. 29, Lincoln hosted a captivating lecture series and art reveal at Le Car.
New work by artist Shinique Smith called “Gateway” was on display at Highline Stages were guests enjoyed a lively conversation with her and a panel of distinguished individuals including: Ryan Niemiec, Lincoln Interior Design Chief; Corey Damen Jenkins, Interior Designer, and Author; and moderator Tamara Warren, CEO and Founder of Le Car.
The event also showcased Violet Cashmere from the Lincoln Digital Scent with divine smells of Grapefruit, Golden Citrus, and Violet. Each scent in the line gives you a new way to personalize your driving experience in the all-new Nautilus. Three specially curated scents housed in the center armrest are activated on demand, releasing a hint of fragrance into the cabin. Choose from three levels of scent effortlessly via the center command screen.
Scents featured are included with the all-new Nautilus equipped with Lincoln Digital Scent. Gateway, is a digital print on fabric that is an interpretation of Violet Cashmere.
In this textile work inspired by her painting, Smith investigates harmonies among tactile objects and the senses. She explores the relationship of color, scent, and fabric to memory, technology, and identity, a recurring theme in her large-scale abstract paintings and textile-based sculptures. Vibrant hues flow in energetic fashion and illustrate the way nature is a portal to the sanctuary, as the abstract and ethereal shapes take concrete form.
Violet Cashmere embodies a harmonization of rich violet, grapefruit, and golden citrus. Lincoln Digital Scent is currently available in the all-new Nautilus and will come to the all-new Navigator when it launches in the spring.
