On Thursday June 27th, Kodie Shane had a show in Brooklyn, New York.
The intimate venue of Sunnyvale was a perfect set up for Kodie Shane’s fans. Before the concert Kodie was in a jovial mood taking photos with some of her fans and her friends while some of the opening acts performed.
Kodie Shane opened up her set with high energy and engaged with her fans and encouraged them to sing her songs with her, and to her surprise a lot of them knew her lyrics. In her hour-long set she performed some of her popular songs from her projects Young HeartThrob, Big Trouble Little Jupiter and Zero Gravity. Kodie had a lot of energy throughout the show doing her own version of the “whoa” dance and feeding of the energy of the crowd and her drummer. Kodie brought out her girlfriend Skye Morales and collaborator Saucy Longwe to perform a song with her.
This was a very intimate show that Kodie had with her fans since her energy throughout the hour long set never wavered, she was able to be herself with a crowd that was there to see her perform and hear their favorite Kodie Shane songs. It’s no easy feat for an up and coming artist to do an hour long set and that’s the reason why her fans appreciated her and were engaged and singing along throughout the entire show.
Mass Appeal collaborated with Marvel for their new comic series called AXE Fresh-Men and made a five song mixtape to come out along side the comic series. All the songs were recorded at the Mass Appeal Studio in NYC. Some of the artists featured in the AXE Fresh-Men Mixtape include Kodie Shane, 070 Phi, Akilz Amari, Louis IV, Dave East and D Savage. The new comic series and mixtape will be available online starting July 12th.
