300 entertainment is known for churning out some of the biggest names in hip-hop right now. Migos, London On Da Track, and many more artist who have changed the digital landscape of 2017. We owe thanks to Kevin Liles, world renowned business man, entrepreneur and co-founder of 300 entertainment.
But Kevin isn’t stopping at just managing some of the hottest acts on the market. He’s looking for new, undiscovered artists in the best way possible.#Freestyle50 is the latest competition in which up and coming artists compete for the chance to be signed to 300 Entertainment, have a song produced by London On Da Track, and win 10,000 dollars.
The Knockturnal caught up with Kevin and London on Da Track at their #freestyle50 event, to chat about the importance of #freestyle50 and new partnership with Verizon:
On Freestyle 50’s collaboration with Verizon:
“We look for brands that understand our culture and respect our culture. Brands that are willing to take the risk with executives, like us. Brands who we know will say ‘we know what’s important to your brand and we also know what’s important to your culture.’ So having that #freestyle50 challenge covered both because it gave us a good business opportunity and the value proposition was on both sides. So big shout out to Verizon and shout out to Samsung.”
One thing is for certain, 300 Entertainment’s stronghold over the music industry isn’t stopping anytime soon. #Freestyle50 is a chance for us to watch how they expand over the next few years, while bringing fresh new talent to the forefront.
