The Fader magazine recently teamed up with vitaminwater for a five day music series titled #Uncapped. Thursday night marked day three, which featured Atlantic recording artist JoJo.Thursday night at POP14, located on 14th Street and 9th Avenue, The Fader magazine and vitaminwater hosted an awesome event for music fans. Celebrating five years of great music coverage an events, The Fader and vitaminwater threw another great event. Hot 97’s DJ Ebro hosted night three. Kicking the evening off on the 1’s and 2’s was iconic rapper and superstar Q Tip. He had the crowd vibing to all of today’s music hits.
Keeping the attendees entertained, Ebro continue to parade back and forth on the stage. He danced and even played skits from Vine sensation Nicholas Fraser who created the “Why You Always Lying” video. As apart of the entertainment there was a t-shirt booth and a photo booth. There was unlimited vitaminwater that was of course free of charge but along with that there were two bar stations that served up amazing vitaminwater infused cocktails.
Midway through the event, recording artist JoJo blessed the stage as she sang her classic hit songs “Too Little Too Late” and “Get Out.” She even sang “My Way” by Fetty Wap in honor of him not being able to attend the event to perform. The 11-song set also included covers of Drake’s “Marvin’s Room,” Sylvester’s “You Make Me Feel,” and SWV’s “Weak.” She also performed her trio of brand new songs—”Say Love,” “You Make Me Feel,” and “Save My Soul”.
