Jim Gaffigan is featured in Chrysler Brand’s new marketing campaign “Dad Brand”
The all-new campaign for 2017 Chrysler Pacifica reinvents the “Dad Brand” in comedic fashion while highlighting the levels of functionality, versatility, technology and safety features of the vehicle. Jim Gaffigan, a real-life father of five, seems to be a perfect choice as brand looks to target millennials with families.
The Chrysler brand introduced the minivan 33 years ago, which continues to address the needs of families. The campaign provides a unique twist on the standard brand spokesperson campaign, showing Jim Gaffigan being playful with his image and acknowledging the ways the vehicle itself is helping him with the upkeep of his “Dad Brand.” The campaign includes appearances by Gaffigan’s wife Jeannie and children Marre, Jack, Katie, Mike and Patrick.
Jim Gaffigan is a Grammy nominated comedian, New York Times best-selling author, top touring performer and multi-platinum-selling father of five. Gaffigan’s first book, “Dad Is Fat,” debuted at No. 5 on The New York Times Best Sellers List in 2013 and remained on the list for 17 weeks. You saw him in “Three Kings,” “Hot Pursuit,” “Super Troopers” and “17 Again” and more. The comedian has also his own television series “The Jim Gaffigan Show.”
