Grammy week is well underway and ahead of the most prestigious award show in music, Grammy-nominated rapper Meek Mill hosted an intimate evening celebrating “Championships.”

Music streaming service, TIDAL launched Dolby Atmos Music in December which is changing the way music lovers experience listening to their favorite artists.  Dolby Atmos gives music more space and the freedom to unleash every detail and emotion as the artist intended. On January 22 Dolby and TIDAL hosted a night of music, celebration and fun in honor of Meek Mill’s Grammy nomination for his highly successful album, “Championships.”

The night took place at the exclusive and luxurious NeueHouse in Los Angeles, CA. A theme of elegance consumed the room as towers of Ace of Spades bottles and glasses were made available for guests to indulge. For those who opted out of the bubbly, signature cocktails were on deck located at several open bars throughout the spacious venue. Guests arrived promptly at 8:00 pm dressed in their finest looks. Upon entry, attendees were greeted by servers holding large trays with an assortment of delicious hors d’oeuvres. There was a buzz of excitement as guests and fans eagerly waited for the Philly rapper to make his appearance.

As the drinks poured and the crowd got familiar with each other, Meek Mill took the stage looking dapper in an all-black suit with a black turtleneck. After thanking the crowd for coming out and supporting him and his music, the Grammy-nominated rapper gave us what we came for. Starting with “House Party”, the energetic rapper got the crowd up and moving as a montage of his career playing behind him. After performing a couple of songs including hit record “Going Bad,” Meek Mill ended with an emotional rendition of “Dreams & Nightmares” before pumping the crowd up again to an explosion of confetti that filled the venue. As peers, guests, and fans cheered, the humble rapper thanked the sponsors, TIDAL and Dolby again as well as partygoers in attendance.
