Miami’s luxury, entertainment, and automotive worlds came together on June 3 as Haute Living and Lamborghini South Dade hosted an intimate celebration honoring internationally renowned DJ, producer, and entrepreneur Afrojack at Carbone Vino.
The evening welcomed a mix of South Florida notables, including Larsa Pippen, DJ Irie, and Haute Media Group CEO Kamal Hotchandani, for a night of great food, luxury cars, and celebration.
Guests were welcomed by a lineup of Lamborghini vehicles before heading inside for a Champagne Telmont toast and the unveiling of a commissioned piece by Miami artist Vic Garcia. Dinner was served family-style and featured several favorites from Carbone Vino, including the restaurant’s famous Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Mario’s Meatballs, Mahi Livornese, Ribeye Tagliata, and Guava Cheesecake.
One of the night’s standout moments came when Miami-Dade County officially proclaimed June 3 as Afrojack and Elettra Lamborghini Day. While Elettra unfortunately missed the celebration due to a travel delay, the recognition served as a tribute to the couple’s impact across music, entertainment, and culture.
The honor arrives as the pair graces the latest cover of Haute Living Miami, where they traded red carpets and headline-making careers for something a little more relatable: beach walks, puzzle nights, and quality time at home. Despite lives that often have them crossing continents, Afrojack and Elettra’s favorite moments seem to happen when everything slows down.
“What is very sexy now is calm,” Elettra shared in the feature. “Eating healthy. Going to sleep kind of early. Resting. Training. Those types of things. Because our jobs take a lot of energy mentally and physically. We like home. We like to do fun things together.”
Afrojack also opened up about how meeting Elettra changed his outlook on health and the future.
“Before I met her, if I turned 70 or 100, I didn’t care so much,” he said. “Now I want to be very old and healthy.”
The couple’s chemistry shines throughout the interview, particularly when discussing the realities of balancing marriage with demanding careers. “He’s my rock,” Elettra said, while Afrojack responded with perhaps the most fitting description of their dynamic, “I’m an ice cube, but I melt for her.”
Between the luxury cars, celebratory toasts, and gathering of global talent, the evening was certainly a celebration of an artist whose influence extends far beyond the DJ booth. But it also offered a reminder that behind the sold-out shows and international fame is a couple that finds joy in the simple things and isn’t afraid to admit it.
