Concert goers and ticket holders of Janet Jackson’s The Unbreakable Tour will have to hold off once again, this time for a shocking surprise.
It seems as though the Unbreakable World Tour just fails to prevail. On April 6 The Rhythm Nation singer took to social media to announce a delay in her first tour in over four years. There have been several hiccups regarding the tour since it first launched back in August of last year with show cancellations and complications due to her health. In late December, Ms. Jackson took to twitter to announce that she would be postponing the tour until the Spring of 2016 pleading that fans hold on tight to their tickets because of an unspecified surgery.
“Hey you guys… Happy Holidays to each and every one of you. I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring,” the singer wrote via Twitter. “Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment. I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon’ b alright.”
Rumors began to surface that cancer seemed to be the cause of her surgery. Jackson quickly shut down those comments with a melodic statement.

Furthermore, Janet Jackson shared a bit of bittersweet tea with yet another postponing. The 49-year-old icon and her entrepreneur husband are planning a family. Jackson was told by her doctor that it is in her best interest that she “rest up.” Jackson pleads for understanding from fans and staff of the production as there is no exact day she will be able to resume.

As for the fans, Ticketmaster sent out an email to all ticket holders that expressed they will not be refunding money until they get a word of cancellation. Until then they will treat the show dates as postponed until further notice. Although there are no details on how she will pursue conception or when the second leg of the tour will continue, we hope all success to her and the future addition to the Jackson heritage.
