One of New York City’s coolest icons – Ice T – chilled in Times Square on June 10 to celebrate National Iced Tea Day with Raising Cane’s.

The legendary star of the “Law & Order” franchise and Grammy winner was the epitome of cool and collected when he was spotted ‘back on the block’ at the restaurant’s global flagship.

The rapper served up “The Official Iced Tea of Ice T” to fans at Raising Cane’s in honor of National Iced Tea Day.  Being one of the Big Apple’s toughest sweeties,  he surprised fans by serving up the freshly-brewed beverage with a side of signature Ice swagger.

In a way only Ice T could, he also spilled the tea as he read off fans’ admissions and secrets that they submitted to Raising Cane’s socials. The tea ranged from funny to crazy, and he was the first to offer advice that was cool as ice.

“Cane’s iced tea is ‘The Official Iced Tea of Ice T,’ and I’m ‘sweet T’ today!” said Ice T. “It was a great day when Cane’s asked me to be an ambassador because you have to be a certain level of connected to be able to work with a brand like Cane’s – this is me all day, chicken and iced tea. Last year, when Cane’s did the standees and people were stealing them, that was good. If I could have tea with anyone today, it’d be with Chris from Law & Order because he’s crazy like me!”

Inside the restaurant, he FaceTimed a good friend and Raising Cane’s owner and founder, Todd Graves, who thanked him for another great National Iced Tea Day.

“It was great having Ice at our Times Square Global Flagship to celebrate National Iced Tea Day with ‘The Official Iced Tea of Ice T,’” said Graves. “Ice has been a friend of mine and partner of the Brand for many years, and always makes the day fun and unique. Fans look forward to National Iced Tea Day every year, and we love the energy and excitement that Ice brings to the Restaurant and our Customers.”

Raising Cane’s is one of the fastest-growing Restaurant brands, with 900+ Restaurants in 40+ states, and plans to open more than 100 new Restaurants across several new markets in 2025.

The company recently announced plans to be one of the top 10 Restaurant brands in the United States and is known for its ONE LOVE® – craveable Chicken Finger meals – which includes the iconic “Cane’s Sauce” – named the #1 most craveable sauce in the Restaurant industry and most craveable chicken.
