Looking for your next Sunset Blvd destination? Look no further than Hotel Ziggy.
Hotel Ziggy is Springboard Hospitality’s newest hotel concept, located on the famed Sunset strip in West Hollywood. April 5th was their grand opening and it surely did live up to its rockin expectations.
Malin Akerman, Legendary Rock Musician Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver, music artist Rudy Mancuso, music artist Haley Reinhart, Audrina Patridge, James Kennedy, and many more came out to celebrate. The evening included a surprise rock performance by Billboard Chart topping artist Haley Reinhart with a guest appearance by Pink Floyd’s legendary sax player Scott Page.
Featured cocktails of the night included the Ziggy Mule, Rock Icon Old Fashioned and Sunset Strip Margarita. The curated cocktails were made with Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston’s Dos Hombres Mezcal, The Chainsmokers’ JAJA Tequila, Ciara’s Ten To One Rum, NEFT Vodka, Brother’s Bond Bourbon by Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, and Mulholland Gin.
It was a music filled evening. There were photo booths throughout the venue allowing partygoers to flick up with their friends and send it directly to their phones. There was also a temporary tattoo station where you could receive an airbrush tattoo. Partygoers stayed hydrated by Liquid Death water, plus Jello shots and boozy popsicles that greeted guests upon entry and poolside. Guests also enjoyed a poolside Taco Station, old-school Pretzel Cart, a sprawling cheese & charcuterie board, custom dessert tables, and an endless flow of hors d’oeuvres.
Overall the evening was so beautifully curated it felt like you were in the peak of the rock and roll era. The details of electric and acoustic guitars on every floor, branded Ziggy pillows and rock and roll decals throughout, channeled the true essence of what made the Sunset Strip one of the most notable streets in the world.
