The New York Comedy Festival was in full swing last week across New York City. Created in 2004, the festival is a 7-day affair featuring over 200 comedians, performing across the five boroughs.
Highlighting the festival this year was Entre Nos presented by HBO Latino. This stand-up comedy series features exciting, young Latino comedians who share the relatable stories of life, love, family as a part of the Latino community.
This year’s presentation was held at the New York Comedy Club East Village. A full house was greeted to an incredible show that included sets featuring Last Comic Standing alum Aida Rodrigues, Gina Brillon, Mark Viera, and Wil Sylvince. Additionally, fellow comedian Erik Rivera hosted the event.
Rivera is currently working with HBO Latino, recently releasing a half-hour comedy special on the network. The channel describes itself as a dedicated Spanish-language premium channel that delivers compelling and culturally-relevant programming to the U.S. Latino audience.
