It’s that time of the year again, holiday season and Hallmark is making is much easier to add a little personal touch to your special presents!
Have you ever stood in the card aisle at your local drugstore while staring aimlessly at the abundance of card options and still not seeing anything that matches what you’re going for? So you end up choosing some random card that holds no real significance to you or the recipient all while wondering, was the card even necessary?
Well the answer is yes and Hallmark Signature is solving our card shopping woes by introducing the first of its kind flagship store at Santa Monica Place Shopping Center in Santa Monica, California. Hallmark understood that emailing, texting, video messaging, etc has become so common that people aren’t feeling like individuals anymore. Birthday messages are simply a post on your timeline and holiday messages are impersonalized emails sent to the masses. It’s hard to actually feel special when you know zero thought was put into your message. So Hallmark developed the Hallmark Signature store which offers shoppers a unique, modern and upscale take to greeting cards. Creative director Angela Ensminger notes how these new cards tell a story. The new mix and match option allows you to create exactly what you want to achieve that personal touch. This new concept is a reminder of how good it feels to actually be able to hold a card in your hand and feel that someone thought of you specifically. We must never underestimate the power of a handwritten card, especially those commonly overlooked “Thank You” notes.
The Hallmark Signature store hosted an exclusive VIP Friendsgiving Brunch this past Sunday to celebrate the opening of this exciting new concept and special guests included Hallmark channel stars, Danica Mckellar and Dean Cain. The store was beautifully decorated with themed tables, a crepe station and my personal favorite, a calligrapher that wrote personalized cards that would be sent out to the person of your choosing.
