“Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour” is headed to Forest Hills.
The legendary sporting and entertainment venue, Forest Hills Stadium, grounded in Queens, New York’s neighborhood of Forest Hills is excited to welcome Grammy Award-winning folk comedy duo Flight of the Conchords (aka Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie) on their “Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchors Tour” on Wednesday July 20.
The “Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour” is the duo’s first since co-headlinning 2014’s “Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour.” The show includes an exclusive showcase of Jemaine and Bret’s new material in the works.
“I’m thrilled to get back on the road with over half the original band,” said Bret about the upcoming tour.
The Conchords have also temed up with the charity organization Global Citizen for this tour. “We are so excited that Flight of the Conchords has joined the Global Citizen Tickets program for 2016! Offering two tickets to each show on the upcoming “Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour” will engage and motivate Global Citizens across the U.S. to take action to end extreme poverty by 2030,” said Amy Freeland, Senior Manager of Global Citizen Tickets about the partnership.
The historic open air stadium not only has this on its 2016 slate, but will also include the ruturn of Bob Dylan and His Band on July 8, Paul Simon Live in Concert on June 30 and Jul 1 and Mumford & Sons with two sold-out performances June 16 and 17 as well as Disclosure Presents “Wild Life” on June 18. The Stadium’s new Partnership with World Team Tennis will bring tennis back to the historic courts this summer with the debut of the New York Empire.
Tickets will be available beginning Friday, April 1 at 10am EST at ForestHillsStadium.com. American Express card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Wednesday, March 30 at 10am EST through Thursday, March 31 at 10pm EST.
