Get your bucket of popcorn and possibly a box of tissues ready for the season finale of Apple TV+’s ‘Ted Lasso.’
The sports comedy series was created by ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Jason Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence and is based on the pre-existing characters from NBC Sports’ short videos of the American coach.
The Knockturnal caught up with the female lead, Hannah Waddingham, to preview the final episode of ‘Ted Lasso.’ Waddingham says it’s been a ‘crazy’ journey from start to finish when working with the cast and crew.
“We’re a very tight bunch, and as much as we all knew that it was a great show with charming content, I don’t think any of us could’ve expected that it would go to people’s hearts as much as it has done. I think people needed escapism and they’ve found it in ‘Ted Lasso.’”
And all good things don’t have to come to a complete end. Apple TV’s ‘Ted Lasso’ has been renewed for Season 2. Fans can look forward to continuing the football journey with Coach Lasso, Rebecca, and the rest of the crew.
The season finale of the sports comedy series airs on October 2nd on Apple TV+.
