Kumail Nanjiani, Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis, and Annaleigh Ashford star in the series Welcome to Chippendales, which premieres on Hulu on November 22nd.
The show tells the origin story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, played by Nanjiani, who was an Indian American entrepreneur who started the stripper troupe Chippendales. The series follows his path to success and money as he attempts to create the world’s greatest male-stripping empire. Welcome to Chippendales depicts the length and strides an individual will go through to reach personal and financial achievement. The eight-episode show incorporates elements of crime, romance, power, ego, and success to demonstrate the brand’s creation. As each episode progresses, viewers will gain a better understanding of each character through various moments and dialogue.
Alongside the stars, fans get to see recurring guests such as Quentin Plair, Robin de Jesús, and Andrew Rannells, as well as guest appearances by Nicola Peltz Beckham and Dan Stevens. The first two episodes will premiere exclusively on Hulu, with one new episode each week until January 3, 2023.
