Scott Butler is a man of many talents and holds several interests as he endeavors in professional acting after a major shift from his job as a video games artist in 2009.

Meeting Scott Butler

Sitting down with Scott Butler was a delight. Thoroughly, he discusses his life as an actor and artist. Watch Scott’s treasured anecdotes as he answers layered questions about being an artist, actor and human being.

Scott is from London, England and his first acting gig involved a nativity scene and a “flying Jesus” – Scott was the Flying Jesus. In 2009, he won the “Best Actor” award at the Pacific Coast Theatre Company. In 2011, he won the “Best Actor – Award of Excellence” at the Canada International Film Festival.

AMC’s Lodge 49

He said that the one acting opportunity that made him feel like he truly made it as a professional actor was his role of “Oliver” in AMC’s Lodge 49 series. Being on set, he mentioned how inviting the cast and crew were.

Hypochondriac

And with projects like Hypochondriac, Scott is getting the opportunity to work with great mentors as a creature actor as well – having had some of that experience with movement and miming naturally as a child. He plays The Wolf in the film and discusses his experience with creature acting.
