Two-time Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer Poo Bear recently released his album, The Book of Nabeel, on November 18th.
Poo bear describes this album as a work of art that took a lengthy amount of time to come together. The songs were comprised of a variety of poems created by his partner Nabeel, which allowed him to branch away from the music he’s known to produce. The last album Poo Bear released was in 2018, which incorporated a variety of features from artists like J Balvin, Jennifer Lopez, Ty Dollar Sign, etc. Unlike his other albums, The Book of Nabeel has zero features and has granted him the opportunity to step outside his comfort zone and display more of his sound and vocals.
Aside from his album Poo Bear has worked with a variety of musicians such as Justin Bieber, Kelly Rowland, Usher, Fat Joe, Chris Brown, and more. His musical talent spans various songs and genres that are well know hits within the music industry. The frequencies, rhythm, and melodies he uses have allowed him to establish his name and work within the realm of music.
The Knockturnal spoke with Poo Bear about this album and what he hopes listeners will take away from The Book of Nabeel. He also details how this album shows his growth lyrically and how this experience has allowed him to incorporate new words and topics to create a unique sound.
The Book of Nabeel is available on all music streaming platforms.
