The highly anticipated season two of “Motherland: Fort Salem” returns to Freeform on Tuesday, June 22.
Amalia Holm, Demetria McKinney, and Lyne Renée return for season two of Motherland: Fort Salem to reprise their roles of Scylla, Anacostia, and General Alder, respectively. The first season followed the witches as they protected their nation from The Spree with the United States Army, and concluded with an exciting and suspenseful finale, teasing an epic season two.
“This is incredible stuff,” McKinney says of season two. “The writers lost their minds in the best way, everybody’s character is on an incredible journey, the lives that you’ve known these characters to have have been completely switched. There’s a lot of growth, there’s a lot of change, there’s a lot of truth, there’s a lot of deception.”
The cast discusses returning to their characters for a second season, what they are most excited for fans to see, favorite on-set memories, what they are most proud of about this new season, and more. Motherland: Fort Salem is executive produced by Eliot Laurence, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
Season two will premiere June 22 at 10 PM on Freeform.
