Thaddeus O’Sullivan’s The Miracle Club took over twenty years to make from the start of the project’s development, and it was well worth it. Set in 1967, the film focuses on the lives of three close friends from a tough neighborhood in Dublin, Ireland. It revolves around Lily, (Maggie Smith) Eileen, (Kathy Bates), and Dolly (Agnes O’Casey). The women share a deep bond that transcends generations as they navigate the challenges of living in Ballyfermot, a resilient and tight-knit community.
