Customers got a horrifying surprise while TV shopping as Samara, the fictional character from the RING franchise, came to life in their local electronics store.
You know the story: mysterious videotape, a girl emerging from a TV screen, a dead viewer. The story that is the heart of the RING franchise, entertaining as it is, is probably not one most people would like to be inside. The shoppers at one electronics store, fortunately for us, had no choice in the matter. Customers were plunged into this world of horror when they saw Samara coming after them from inside of a television they might have wanted to purchase.
Hey, maybe Samara just wanted to talk. For fans of the franchise, a new chapter of the RING series will be ready for consumption in theaters on February 3rd. RINGS, the continuation of the franchise, tells the story of a young woman as she worries about her boyfriend delving into the murky world of a strange video, a video said to have the powers to kill its viewer. When her boyfriend’s life is put at risk, she sacrifices herself, and in doing so finds more about the video than anyone before. Watch the trailer for the scary flick here:
