And if you are looking to gift some spirit or wine to your mom or loved one, we have some suggestions.

If you mother is a fan of high end tequila, we have recently tried Cierto Tequila and cannot recommend it enough

For The Mom Who Has a Sweet Tooth:

We all know a mom who likes to indulge in the occasional “sweet treat,” so why not indulge her with a delectable pour of Cierto Tequila Private Collection Reposado? Aged primarily in French Limousin oak, this tequila has notes of butterscotch and cooked agave, which offers a flavor profile that begins with agave, shifts to caramel, and finishes with a rich cinnamon spice. Best enjoyed on the rocks, with an SRP of $119 / 750ml.

For The Mom Who Likes Her Spirits Neat:

Does your mom have a penchant for sipping spirits neat, on the rocks or straight up? Then look no further than the Cierto Tequila Private Collection Añejo. This exquisite tequila is patiently aged in French Limousin oak and makes the idyllic gift for moms who enjoy the many complexities that come with luxury, sipping spirits. The liquid is made from a unique blend of rare Añejo tequilas that opens with notes of orange and oak, and finishes with a complex array of coffee, chocolate and caramel. Best served neat or on the rocks, with an SRP of $169 / 750ml.

If you mother is a rum lover, then look over to BACARDÍ.  BACARDÍ’s has recently unveiled their new flavored rum expression, Mango Chile. Straight from the fruit carts of Mexico, the iconic rum brand has transformed the popular mango snack into summer’s sweetest and spiciest new serve, and is sure to turn up the heat this summer with its deliciously unique and fiery taste.

With a blend of natural mango extracts, bold chili spice, and smooth BACARDÍ Superior white rum, the sweet and spicy flavors are best enjoyed as a chilled pour, served in a 1.5oz shot glass – packing the heat and fruity sweetness into a simple and snackable serve. Garnish the glass with a Tajin chili spiced rim in order to achieve a truly zesty blend of flavors. Mango Chile can also be used to create delicious cocktails for any warm weather occasion, adding a hot twist to classic Bacardi serves like the Mojito and the Rum Rita.

And a classic gift that most moms love is a nice bottle of wine.  And we have some recommendations that will help make your life easier.

First up is from Avaline.  We have tried Avaline before and their wine is crisp, complex, and delicious.  And this year Avaline has what mom really wants this year and made it BIGGER (because moms always go the extra mile).  The Spring Edit is a thoughtfully curated wine set that makes the perfect brunch companion.

Founded by entrepreneurs and mothers Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, Avaline is a sugar-free, vegan-friendly wine brand made with organic grapes and without unnecessary extras.

The Spring Edit (SRP $218)

  • A 9-bottle set of Avaline’s lightest sips for spring, featuring 3 White, 3 Rosé and 3 Sparkling—all for a little less, because you’re stocking up.

And if your mom is a fan of drinks on the go, we have a perfect solution for that.  One of our favorite wine brands, Sonoma-Cutrer, has released their first canned wine based off their award winning California wine.  The canned wine is called Simply Cutrer and features notes of citrus flavors like peach, nectarine and juicy melon. The Chardonnay fruit for this release was all sourced from well-known regions of California, which allowed the winemakers to select grapes that hold true to the brand’s fruit-forward style.

And lastly, since Mother’s Day is a celebration, there has to be some type of bubbles.  And if you’re in the market for sparkling wine, we cannot recommend Chandon enough.

Chandon Rosé ($19)

This aromatic, dry sparkling Rosé reveals a gorgeous shade of pink in the glass with aromas of fresh strawberry, watermelon and cherry that proceed through the palate and finish.

Chandon Brut ($19)

Crisp and fresh, our Chandon Brut is your go-to choice bubbly for entertaining and sipping during all spring occasions. Effortlessly cool yet affordable.

Chandon Garden Spritz ($20.99)

The Garden Spritz is a naturally delicious balance of bubbles, bitters, and botanicals. It’s made from a subtly sweet house-made ‘garden liqueur’ that is authentically handcrafted by Chandon’s winemaking team in Argentina using locally sourced, handpicked Valencia oranges, fresh herbs, and spices. We recommend serving in a large glass, over ice, with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of dried orange for the ultimate finishing touch.
