Bustle, the popular online destination for young women, hosted its first-ever B.Happy event in Los Angeles on June 29th. Partnering with the all-new 2025 Toyota Camry, the event was a day-long celebration focused on finding and fostering joy amongst guests!
Candid Conversations and High-Energy Activities
Attendants enjoyed a mix of insightful panel discussions and fun activities throughout the day at NYA studios. Bustle Editor-in-Chief Charlotte Owen kicked things off by welcoming the crowd and moderating a conversation with reality TV star Whitney Port, podcaster Tay Lautner, and wellness coach Nazanin Mandi about unlocking personal happiness.

The staged panels also featured a variety of discussions on wellness, fashion, and creativity. Panels included life hacks with influencers, a BookTok chat with author Jessica Knoll, and a beauty brand founders’ discussion. Guests could also participate in workout sessions, meditation, and breathwork workshops.

B.Happy’s stages culminate in a musical note with Drag Queen Karaoke, where guests belted out tunes alongside the fabulous Layla Amor!
The Maze of Merriment: A Toyota Camry Adventure
At the heart of the B-Happy experience was the Toyota Camry’s, “Maze of Merriment,” an interactive wonderland filled with surprises. Guests navigated through a disco-themed maze overflowing with sparkly decorations and reflective surfaces.
They could:
- Snap selfies with fun affirmations adorning the walls.
- Write their own positive messages on a giant mirror with colorful markers.
- Challenge themselves in a playful claw game themed around dirty laundry being cleaned by a Camry (complete with socks!).
- Fuel up with a coffee break from a conveniently located cart within the maze.
- Seek guidance from tarot cards for a touch of mystical fun.
- Spin a prize wheel for a chance to win exciting giveaways.
- Become a “passenger princess” and be photographed by a professional in a stunning blue Camry, complete with a crown or tiara.
More Fun and Shopping
Beyond the maze, attendees explored brand activations featuring healthy snacks, beauty products, and custom denim embroidery. They could also shop freely at the “Joy Mart” for energy sticks, hydrating drinks, and other self-care essentials.

The venue was a vibrant space with colorful decorations, relaxing music from a sparkling DJ booth, and delicious food options like açai bowls and doughnuts. 21 Seeds brought the drinks with a spicy, sweet, and original variations to keep the party going!

Inside, guests found:
- A delightful doughnut bar to satisfy your sweet tooth.
- A denim customization area by Denim Boy, where they could get custom embroidery on their jeans.
- A caricature artist station that captured guests’ unique fashion sense and even provided them with cute matches and stylish bows.
- A permanent jewelry booth offering a chance to adorn themselves with charming bracelets.
Moral of the event, Bustle and Toyota partnered up in empowering you to chase your happy! Can’t wait for next year’s B-Happy extravaganza!
