As part of the 2019 Bud Light Dive Bar Tour, FLETCHER performed at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco on June 26th. Presented by Glaad, this show pays tribute to the LGBTQ+ community by hosting it in a city that is known for having one of the most prominent LGBTQ+ cultures and communities in the world. The series also marks the 20th anniversary of the partnership between Bud Light and Glaad.
FLETCHER performed for a small intimate crowd of fans and shared intimate, personal, raw moments leading up to every song she wrote. She shared her story about her first time coming out as well as her experiences with her previous relationship. The crowd loved singing along and dancing to her recent hit “Undrunk” as well as a few previews from her upcoming album. In addition, she performed Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors” as a tribute to the LGBTQ+ community. Post Malone also got a shout out as she performed a more vocal rendition of his hit, “Better Now.”
FLETCHER also shared her story with her fans about how this show helped her come full circle as she started her music career by playing in dive bars in her hometown in New Jersey. Being able to perform in a more intimate setting with her fans in partnership with Bud Light is something that she was excited to do.
The venue was decorated with limited edition Bud Light Pride bottles and bar accessories to match. These limited edition Pride bottles of Bud Light are beautifully designed with a rainbow gradient in an aluminum bottle and will only be available for purchase at bars this weekend. $1 from each pride case sold will be donated to GLAAD, up to $200,000 from now through the end of June.
The Bud Light Dive Bar Tour will continue in New York City in August and Miami in November with artists that will be announced closer to the performance dates so stay tuned!
