This week downtown New York City was witness to a powerful movement that enlightened minds and spiritually awakened bodies. Under the fantasy arches of the Oculus hundreds of attendees took part in the epic Daybreaker White Out.
As the sun rose over the landmark building greeters welcomed at the door with beautiful hugs and handed out silencing headphones. Yoga mats were laid out on the terrace and a session of heartfelt stretching and mind exploration took place with Alex Silver-Fagan.
After joyful attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast of organic Kombucha, Pressed Juicery, Muuna snacks, Irving Farm Coffee, and Organic Valley Protein Shakes. Guests also were gifted Kiehl’s products to try.
Following the yoga a dance party for the ages sprinkled the sun-filled morning. The Scumfrog moved on the stage during the Silent Disco Dance Party . Shortly after headphones were removed and the crowd jumped with joy to a live performance by Sam Blakelock. It was a beautiful site to see with a stream of white clothing bouncing up and down.
Daybreaker is an early morning dance movement in 16 cities around the world and growing. It is a true fitness experience and dance with reckless abandon for two hours before work. It all takes place before work. And, best part is it is all done sober to truly get your Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins levels going in a positive way.
Daybreaker has grown from a small social experiment and an art project with our friends in the basement of a NYC coffee shop to a movement connecting incredible humans locally and globally who choose to live life differently.
Kuddos to Radha Agrawal and Matthew Brimer for bringing a beautiful light to the world.
