Hey cult classic fans, get ready because BBQ Films is presenting another epic event: Beetlejuice’s Wedding!
The event company BBQ Films is known for throwing unforgettable and amazing interactive events based on cult classics. Last year they wowed the crowd with a rave based off of the 1998 thriller Blade that ended with a downpour of blood rain. BBQ Films have given their special treatment to many more films including: Empire Records, Weekend at Bernie’s, Back to the Future, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and many more! Now they are taking a swing at the much-loved film, Beetlejuice by immersing partygoers in sand snakes, sculptures of questionable taste, and classic calypso to witness the holy matrimony of Beetlejuice and his beloved Lydia Deetz.
The ghostly wedding is set for March 19 and March 20 at the House of Yes in Brooklyn, New York. Fans will get the chance to party with the dead, undead and everything in between with the three available ticket packages: Guest, Wedding Party and those who get the Wedding Party will have a chance to get married or renew vows in a fabulously gothic fashion (first come first serve). All guests will enjoy a screening of the 1988 film, music, live performances, a limited-edition event poster, and the chance to help foil Beetlejuice’s wedding. A portion of tickets will be donated to the Geena Davis Institute for Gender in Media. Guest must be 21 or older (with ID) to attend. Tickets can be purchased on the BBQ Films Site.
