Concert Review: Chef’Special and Twenty One Pilots Rock Madison Square Garden
Chef’Special is a Dutch Indie-Pop band that formed in 2008, and I’m calling it now – they are going to be the next big thing. In order for you to understand why I am so certain of this, I need to give you a bit of backstory.
If you have ever wondered how the music charts are determined – your answer is the Billboard Hot 100. They are the music industry standard record chart in the United States for singles. In other words, they are the chart that everyone refers to when they want to know who is the number one best-selling artist. There are three categories that the Billboard Hot 100 uses to calculate their rankings: radio play, online streaming, and sales. Whoever tops this chart must be pretty good, right?
Now, my avid readers, I am sure I already know what you are thinking – “These chart toppers must be awesome live! If only there were a way for me to see them”. Well friends, your prayers have been answered.
On the 20th of August till the 21st of August, the Billboard Hot 100 is teaming up with Live Nation to host a music festival at Nikon, at Jones Beach, NY. This incredible event will feature some of the greatest artists of this generation, including acts such as: Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Fetty Wap, J.Cole, and Ariana Grande – to name a few. This unbelievable festival promises to be mind-blowing, with a lineup that is out of this world.
