On Friday August 12th, 2016, Team Epiphany had their last Summer Friday event of the year at Brooklyn Bowl.
On this special day, the Brooklyn Bowl hosted a bowling extravaganza – equipped with a bowling competition, an open bar complements of Avion Tequila, and free appetizers from Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken.
The drinks and food at the event were plentiful. There was grapes and chips on each table, and waiting staff would come around with an assortment of delicious nibbles, including shrimp, pigs in a blanket, mac and cheese bites, and the highly sought after chicken wings. The drinks at the open bar were all bowling themed, and the bartenders were certainly generous with the liquor portions. To top it all off, there was the resident DJ, DJ Wonder, playing his tunes to keep everyone pumped up.
You may be wondering how the competition worked. Well here you go:
Each competing team was made up of New York City’s most influential brands, restaurants, and companies – there were 10 teams in total. Every team would compete to have the highest average score in the bowling competition.
Everyone involved in this event was participating in the competition purely for charitable reasons.
The winning team of the final Summer Friday would earn a great privilege: they would have all of the money earned throughout the competition be given to the Harold Hunter Foundation in their name. An incredibly fulfilling prize if you ask me.
Props to everybody involved in the event – it was for a great cause!
