The anticipated film, Drawn Together, stars Ester Expósito, best known for her role in Élite, and Hugo Diego García, best known for his role in The Substance.
The action-comedy and thriller Runner is now playing in theatres bringing director Scott Waugh vision to the big screen through an action-packed, suspenseful, and unexpectedly humorous high-stakes story.
The film explores Hank Malone, a former soldier who is played by Alan Ritchson, who becomes the target of a vicious and dangerous cartel. All due to a crucial medical delivery, setting him up for a bloody race against time. Hank needs to make it back in time and get a hold of the package to deliver it before an innocent child runs out of time and is left with a life or death situation.

The cast features Owen Wilson, Alan Ritchson, Rodrigo Santoro, Leila George, Kate Box, Peta Sergeant, Geraldine Hakewill, Cecilia Toussaint and Scarlett Crabtree.
The Knockturnal sat down with Scott Waugh and Rodrigo Santoro where both discussed the characters in the film and the intense action scenes. The film not only is filled with fighting scenes back to back but there is an unexpected level of emotion that is embedded within the film.
Between Hank Malone and Ben Bishop’s relationship developing over time the two men go from strangers to partners in crime.

When discussing the film and directing process of how Waugh took on the project he mentioned what drew his attention.
“When I read the screen play, I was most excited about the emotional hook of these men trying to save a 7-year-old girl from dying. “I’m a father, so I relate to the idea of nothing would stop me from saving my children,” Waugh said.
For Waugh, he says there is justification for the action. Throughout the film, the emotions gradually come across the screenplay.
Rodrigo Santoro who plays Damián Zaldívar, is a dangerous cartel boss who is also pursuing the transplanted medical delivery with a donor liver inside in the film. Damián is a threat and gets in between Hank and Ben and the little girl whose life is on the line. Damián happens to also need the liver to save his mother.

Santoro discussed his approach to Damián’s character, who is most likely going to generate a mixed response from people who understand his motivation for interfering with the mission.
“The whole process was trying to make Damián a three-dimensional character and not fall into the conventional more sort of caricature of an action villain,” Santoro said.
Santoro mentioned Damián is not a good person, the audience shouldn’t like him but it is evident he is coming from a very strong place.
With its blend of high-stakes action, comedy and suspense, Runner delivers a fast-paced ride that will leave you at the edge of your seat throughout the whole film.
Runner is now playing in theaters.

Anthony Hamilton

The Knockturnal: I am doing good, I wanted to know is there anyone you are most looking forward to seeing tonight perform?
Anthony Hamilton: Lauryn Hill. I want to see her, and what she is going to do for D’Angelo, who was a good friend of mine. Roberta flack, and to see how they celebrate those guys.
Tyla stopped to chat and shared her excitement about winning her second Grammy, and the recognition and availability to put more creative input into “PUSH 2 START”. As well, shared what’s new for her, which is A-Pop, her new album.
Paris Hilton, mentioned how proud she is, on her project “Infinite Icon”, and the inspiration it has been for many. This lead Hilton to mention that this film is her “most personal project” she has done so far. Many should expect a third album soon, as she has been working in the studio with exciting music to come.
The Holiday spirit was ignited by Luis Fonsi and the help of other well known brands and talents for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Campaign. The campaign is a well known modern tradition and it marked its 22nd annual campaign for the research hospital.
With the use of celebrity platforms and voices Luis Fonsi continues his deep relationship with St. Jude uses his voice and platform on different channels on social media to help spread St. Judes message and awareness.
The Knockturnal sat down with Luis, where he first reflected on his first ever visit at St. Jude, early into his career.
After learning about their mission Fonsi was left with the feeling of wanting to be a voice for the hospital and allow others to help save lives because for Fonsi that is a powerful thing.
Fonsi explained the 2025 campaign for those who haven’t heard of it, and touched on how the campaign supports the children and families in need.
With the families and children that are in hard times, this is the best and most important time to dontate.
Fonsi mentioned its people like him and others who are aware of the campaign, are ones that can help create awareness during the holidays.
By shopping at certain stores one might not know but they are helping St Jude. Many of the stores or brands that people shop at, are involved and donate through their purchases.
Along with discussing the difficulties she faced as the character in the movie, Morena Baccarin also shared about the behind-the-scenes moments that made her new picture an emotional and thrilling experience.
