by Michelle DeLateur November 8, 2019
written by Michelle DeLateur

Let me start with a confession:  I’ve seen Sara Bareilles five times.  I saw her Broadway debut in Waitress.  I saw her at the Lilith Fair reboot.  I’m excited for every single one of her developments and an admirer of her work.

On the scene: Television Academy Nominee Reception 2019

by Michelle DeLateur September 23, 2019
written by Michelle DeLateur

Playing in the Sandbox: New Social Virtual Reality experiences now available in Southern California with Sandbox VR

by Michelle DeLateur September 17, 2019
written by Michelle DeLateur

Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice: Rom Com Fest 2019

by Michelle DeLateur June 29, 2019
written by Michelle DeLateur

Anchored by a set of romantic comedy staples and riding the pink wave of the rom-com renaissance, the first ever Rom Com Fest took over the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles from June 20th-23rd.  Amongst a sea of pink, including a pink carpet, a pink Jenga game, and rose, Rom Com Fest offered everything sweet, and only a little bit of the sour, to celebrate both classic rom-coms and explorations of the genre.

On The Scene:  ‘American Woman’ LA Premiere

by Michelle DeLateur June 10, 2019
written by Michelle DeLateur

Near the end of ‘American Woman,’ amongst a backdrop of rain and a scene with emotional anguish, mud, tears,  debris, and reconciliation, a small green inchworm makes their way across Sienna Miller’s shoulder. It’s a small bright detail, a reflection of the willingness and the ability to find the beauty in every scene, every inch of Miller’s new film, ‘American Woman.’
