Air Wick Launches Signature Collection with 1-800-Flowers.com and Egypt Sherrod

Flowers in bloom are always the best way to signify to the senses that spring has arrived. It’s also how we know summer is around the corner.

Air Wick and 1-800-Flowers.com have created the best of both worlds in their latest collection, inspired by signature floral scents and Air Wick home fragrances, for their NY launch event at Roey’s. The West Village restaurant, known for its Italian fare and wood oven pizza, became a floral shop for guests and home enthusiasts.

Inside, there were cocktails inspired by the floral scents, sweets, and small bites, as well as a bouquet bar presented by 1-800-Flowers. With the help of HGTV personality Egypt Sherrod, guests were invited to create their own signature scent bouquets. With an assortment of peonies, roses, purple monte casino’s, and orchids to choose from, Air Wick’s bouquet bar offered a glimpse into the limited-time collection of exclusive bouquets inspired by Air Wick’s signature home fragrances.

Sherrod also shared her excitement about the event:

“The energy here is amazing. Everyone is so open and inviting. It’s nice to be back in New York, even though I live in Georgia now.”

We sat down with interior designer and HGTV personality Egypt Sherrod to learn more about the new collection.

The Knockturnal: As an HGTV personality and interior designer, how do you incorporate fragrance into your home design projects?

Egypt Sherrod: Fragrance has always been a key part of my home design projects. It started in my real estate days when I’d bake cookies or boil cinnamon sticks and orange peels during open houses. It created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made people feel at home. Now, as a designer, I still believe that scent is essential. People experience homes with all their senses, so a lovely fragrance can make them fall in love with a space even more.

The Knockturnal: How important is fragrance in creating a welcoming home environment, and how does the Air Wick x 1-800-FLOWERS collection help achieve that?

Egypt Sherrod: Scent is crucial for making a home feel welcoming. The Knockturnal: Can you share any upcoming projects or exciting plans you have with HGTV or in the real estate world?

Egypt Sherrod: We’re about to start filming Season 4 of Married to Real Estate, which I’m really excited about. I love working on this show with my husband. Additionally, I just did a partnership with Lichtenberg for a home textiles line under my Indigo Road brand. We’ll be doing bedding, window covers, and shower curtains. I’m very excited about expanding into stores and online with these new products.

The Knockturnal: How do you view fragrance as a form of personal expression within the home

Egypt Sherrod: Fragrance is the perfect form of personal expression. Just like choosing a perfume, the scents you pick for your home reflect your personality and style. It’s all about personalization and making your space comfortable and unique to you. Fragrance is essential for that personal touch and integration into your living environment.

The Knockturnal: What are some of your favorite scents from the new collection and why?

Egypt Sherrod: My favorite scent from the new collection is Air Wick Vibrant Lavender & Waterlily Scented Oil. It smells so good and calming, but I might change my mind next month depending on my mood. Traditionally, I’m a lavender girl. I like calming scents, but I also love fresh scents like linen. These scents help create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere at home.
