In 2021, Arden Jones, the viral singer-songwriter known for his unique blend of rap and pop, signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. The stage was set for an unforgettable performance by the rising artist.

The Northern Californian native took the stage at New York City’s scenic concert venue, The Rooftop at Pier 17, in support of viral singer-songwriter JVKE for his “This is What Tour Feels Like” North American tour.

Prior to Jones’ set included a performance from the first opening act, 21-year-old singer-songwriter Maryjo Young, hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. Recently signed to Atlantic Records earlier this year, her set included a mix of empowering tracks and acoustic ballads, such as the single “Don’t Call Me,” that swept the audience into the palm of her hand.

The audience at Pier 17 was enthralled entirely by Jones, who exuded charisma and relatability on stage. They connected deeply with both his music and his infectious energy. With the picturesque sunset backdrop and the background set on the waters of Manhattan, another layer of magic added to the unforgettable night.

Opening the show with his debut release, “Parallel Parking,” which had gone viral on TikTok in 2021, Arden mesmerized the crowd with his authenticity and stage presence.

Standout tracks from his performance included “serotonin highs,” “horror story“, and “sabrina“. Fans rejoiced when Jones covered the indie-pop hit “Riptide” by Vance Joy, as the artist performed the track with a few personalized lyrics, adding a unique twist to the popular hit.

Without a doubt, Arden Jones’s deep appreciation for the audience was evident throughout his performance. He truly made the night unforgettable for fans, many of whom were attending their very first concert. He engaged with the crowd, exchanging heartfelt gestures, smiles, and waves, creating such a genuine connection.

The “mr. sunshine” singer, exuding charisma and talent, also shared an electrifying on-stage chemistry with his drummer, Joshua Apple. The duo’s performance was mesmerizing, leaving the audience captivated. Delighting the crowd, Arden occasionally brought out his ukulele, which won fans over.

As Arden’s performance drew to a close, it became abundantly clear that Arden had won the crowd over with a fresh wave of supporters and fans, who were genuinely taken aback by his stage presence and moved by his uplifting show.

Throughout 2023, Jones has toured around the country, promoting his age tape series, where he released new music collections on the first Thursday of every month. The age tape series concluded with a 10-track mix set, including new music and fan favorites from the initial tapes. Arden currently amasses nearly 280 million streams worldwide, garnering thousands of fans across various social media platforms that connect with his music and vulnerable lyricism.

Arden isn’t a newcomer to the music scene, with an impressive resume of having previously toured alongside prominent artists such as Tai Verdesm Thomas Headon, and even graced the stage alongside the beloved singer-songwriter Chelsea Cutler during her ‘When I Close My Eyes Tour.’ Undoubtedly, Jones is positioning himself for success by aligning with fellow singer-songwriters, leaving their mark in the industry.

Arden’s set demonstrated his talent in a captivating way, offering the audience a break from their daily routines and a chance to enjoy a beautiful night of music under the stars.

As the night unfolded, headliner and viral songwriter JVKE took complete command of the stage. He dazzled the audience with crafted tracks and insane vocals from his debut album, This is What __ Feels Like. The performance was an orchestrated and structured journey, divided into distinct sections, guided by a narrator who navigated the emotional spectrum JVKE was exploring.
