‘Rosewood’ Star Gabrielle Dennis Is One To Watch

You may remember actress and comedienne Gabrielle Dennis from “Bring It On” and “The Game” where she played Derwin’s live in girlfriend and Malik’s homette Janay.

 She was also the host of  Teen Summit which was one of my favorite shows growing up. Well hard work and persistence pays off  because she just landed a new gig on Rosewood. We  got a chance to sit down with Gabrielle Dennis who plays Pippy on Fox’s hit show Rosewood.

So tell us about the character you play on Rosewood.

I play the baby sister of Dr. Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) whose the big sister. I am always trying to take care of Dr. Rosewood, give him advice and make sure he is ok. She’s opinionated but extremely loving towards her family and fiancé. She loves them and will do anything for them

So you know I have to ask you about Pippy’s fashion sense. What’s her style?

Pippy is cute and comfy in the lab but outside the lab I’m funky with hats and booties, crop tops and flowy pants. Dr. Rosewood is very dapper  and colorful in his tailored suits. Hopefully, we will get to see Pippy outside of the lab more and really get to see who she is.

How would you describe Gabrielle’s style in one word?

Bohemian. I have beautiful, natural hair. I like to mix it up with high and low brands. Vera Wang with Steve Madden. I also love  color.

What other projects are you working on?

Nothing else at the moment just concentrating on filming my episodes on Rosewood but I’m open to other projects and music. I sing as well.
