Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart star in the action comedy βCentral Intelligence,β from New Line Cinema and Universal Pictures.
The story follows a one-time bullied geek, Bob (Johnson), who grows up to be a lethal CIA agent. He comes home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, Bob enlists the help of former βbig man on campus,β Calvin (Hart), who is now an accountant. He misses his glory days, though.
Before the numbers-cruncher realizes what heβs getting into, itβs too late to get out as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shoot-outs, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than Calvin can count.
The film also starsΒ Oscar nominee Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone), Aaron Paul (TVβs Breaking Bad), and Danielle Nicolet (TVβs The Game). It was directed byΒ Rawson Marshall ThurberΒ and co-written byΒ Ike Barinholtz,Β David StassenΒ and Thurber. Acclaimed actorΒ Ed HelmsΒ is an executive producer.Β
The film will hitΒ theaters on June 17, 2016! It looks like it will be hilarious.
