At the W Hollywood this week, men’s health received the blue spotlight for an evening where fashion met advocacy, as the Blue Jacket Fashion Show celebrated its Diamond Anniversary with a star-studded runway.
The night brought together style and entertainment for an important cause: prostate cancer awareness.
Founded in 2016 by designer Frederick Anderson and Laura Miller, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show has spent the past decade encouraging conversations around men’s health. With September marking Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, this year’s celebration once again brought together an eclectic mix of actors, musicians, athletes, reality stars, designers, and health advocates.

Among the evening’s memorable moments, Dancing With the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko traded the ballroom for the runway, bringing his signature energy to the catwalk. Actor and model Sam Asghari walked down the runway shirtless for his turn. Rodney Peete, Ian Ziering, Jon B, Everett Osborne, Brett Brown, Ricco Ross, Terrence Terrell, David Lascher, Jordan Wisely, Jonathan Tanigaki, Corey Calliet, Dante Young, and Holly Robinson Peete and more stars were on the runway and in attendance to take part in this cause.
But beneath the glamour was the evening’s central message: visibility can be a form of advocacy. Get your style on, but more critically, go see a doctor. “And then save your lives, it’s that simple. It’s all it’s about. And then look good,” Frederick Anderson added with a smile. “In order to look good, you gotta feel good.”
While prostate cancer is clearly a major health concern for all men, racial disparities in diagnosis and mortality are also particularly significant. Studies have shown that Black men are said to be approximately 70 percent more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer and about twice as likely to die from the disease compared with White men.

That reality was represented on the runway by four physicians working to advance awareness, prevention, and treatment. Dr. Matthew Rettig of UCLA, Dr. Jun Gong of Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Przemyslaw Twardowski of Providence, and Dr. Daniel Daneshvar of UCI participated alongside Johnson & Johnson and ZERO Prostate Cancer. Interviews with the doctors were conducted by Nazy Zomorodian, NP, of UCLA.
The Blue Jacket Fashion Show takes an issue that can be difficult to discuss and puts it directly into the cultural spotlight.
This year, Bloomingdale’s returned as the menswear fashion partner, bringing Fall 2026 trends from leading designers carried in the Los Angeles market to the runway. Johnson & Johnson sponsored the event.
And for one night in Hollywood, the runway became a place where celebrity and purpose shared equal billing.
