Pizza was on the mind and it sizzled the senses at Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Fest this weekend.
Thousands gathered for the annual affair on beautiful Saturday for on the Big Apple’s most delicious days. On Sept. 13, the masses flocked to Randall’s Island Park for the world’s biggest and best gathering of pizzerias.

It’s New York’s favorite dish, so no better place to host the beloved event. This year’s festival featured 40+ top-rated pizzerias handpicked by Portnoy himself, dishing out all-you-can-eat slices at restaurant pop up’s from legendary Pizzerias.

Portnoy in action was the kind of positive energy we needed right now. Vendors loved his warm embrace when he greeted them with respect, a handshake and of course that one precious one bite of pizza. Fans surrounded him with a sizzling sense of enthusiasm that you don’t see all the time. For the world of celebrity food events, the One Bite Pizza Fest rules supreme. It gets all the bonus points that can be served up for fan appreciation and the pure love it brings to businesses across the nation.
The 3rd annual One Bite Pizza Festival on Randall’s Island hosted 10,000 fans to taste pies from 40+ of the world’s most iconic pizzerias, all hand-selected by Dave himself.

“I am having the best day. I mean the best,” said attendee Cindy Jackson from Brooklyn, “You have pizza. You have love for pizza and you have all these family businesses getting their shout outs. It’s a perfect day. Thanks Dave!”
