On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Brigade made a triumphant return with its Fourth Annual BBQ, once again proving why it’s one of New York City’s most anticipated summer events. Backed by Johnnie Walker, the all-day affair brought together the essence of NYC diversity, music, style, and vibrant community, all wrapped in the laid-back energy of a perfectly sunny day.
From 1 PM to 7 PM, guests filled the outdoor space to enjoy curated sounds by DJs Odalys, Las Flaquitas, NIGELTHREETIMES, Alchemy, and DJ Yungstr, creating an eclectic sonic landscape that spanned hip-hop, house, dembow, and everything in between.
But the crown jewel of the day was undeniably the live Dominican Latin band that lit up the crowd with an unforgettable set. Their performance transformed the BBQ into a full-on Caribbean celebration with live dancing, tipico rhythms, and beautiful people moving in harmony under the summer sun. It was the kind of moment that reminded everyone why NYC is unmatched when it comes to cultural fusion and feel-good energy.
Another standout? The custom cocktails and premium pours from Johnnie Walker kept the vibes high and the crowd refreshed all day long. From smooth sips to creative mixes, the drinks perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the BBQ and brought a touch of sophistication to the street-style celebration.
The festivities didn’t stop at the music. Guests cooled off with frozen treats from Mamita’s Ices, sipped sparkling refreshments from Topo Chico, grabbed flame-grilled favorites from Burgerhead, and recharged with Dominican bites from Café Colmado. Meanwhile, a dominoes tournament and classic lawn games brought out the competitive spirit in the crowd.
