The Teen Titans Go! pressroom at New York Comic Con 2024 offered exciting insights as the cast and creative team reflected on the show’s journey and upcoming projects.

With the animated series celebrating its 400th episode, the milestone episode’s unique approach stood out. The team revealed that this special installment would be created entirely in stop-motion, marking a new direction for the long-running series and adding a fresh visual style.

The cast and executive producer discussed the creative challenges and excitement behind the transition, highlighting how it pays homage to the show’s enduring legacy while experimenting with new storytelling techniques.

Khary Payton, who voices Cyborg, was also asked about his potential return to The Walking Dead universe. Payton reflected on whether he would reprise his role as Ezekiel if given the opportunity, leaving fans hopeful but with no concrete details. He expressed fondness for the character, hinting at his openness to revisit Ezekiel under the right circumstances. His comments gave fans something to speculate about, especially with The Walking Dead universe expanding with multiple spin-offs and new projects.

Tara Strong, known for her portrayal of Raven in Teen Titans Go!, shared insights into her experience working with legendary game developer Hideo Kojima. Strong voiced Paz Ortega Andrade in several installments of the Metal Gear Solid series, including Peace Walker (2010), Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (2014), and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015). She spoke about how meaningful the role was, reflecting on the challenges of bringing emotional depth to the complex character and how the collaboration with Kojima influenced her approach to voice acting.

The panel also hinted at the future of Teen Titans Go! beyond its 400th episode. While the series has been known for its playful tone, the team emphasized their desire to continue innovating and keeping the show relevant for both younger audiences and longtime fans. With a stop-motion special, dedicated cast members, and crossover conversations from other genres like gaming and live-action TV, the Teen Titans Go! team made it clear that they are far from running out of creative energy.

The pressroom buzzed with enthusiasm as the cast and crew celebrated their past achievements while teasing what’s still to come, leaving fans excited for the 400th episode and beyond.
