DragCon has arrived in Los Angeles, transforming the Los Angeles Convention Center into a dazzling mecca of drag! Music fills the air, vendors showcase their wares, and photo opportunities give fans a once in a lifetime experience!
This year’s DragCon promises to be bigger and better than ever, with iconic events like a RuPaul‘s DJ set, a glamorous Pink Carpet queen entrance, and unforgettable meet-and-greets.
Fans witnessed queens strutting down the Pink Carpet in style, side-by-side with their fellow drag royalty. Check out our reel (here) to see if you can spot any of your favorites!
Speaking of meet-and-greets, DragCon provides a chance to encounter international drag royalty! Queens from the UK, the Philippines, and beyond graced the event this year.
Beyond the queens and stars, DragCon offers a vibrant array of stages and programs. One highlight was the LIVE taping of “Bring Back My Girls” for WOW Presents Plus. Hosted by Ts Madison, the show featured queens from Canada’s Drag Race Season 4 and Drag Race Mexico Season 1 spilling behind-the-scenes tea.
Fashion took center stage as well. Designer Betsey Johnson joined queens like Plastique Tiara, Raja, and Gottmik at her booth, creating a fan frenzy.
KimChi Chic Beauty and got2b were just a few of the many vendors offering convention-goers a fun and interactive experience. From small businesses to big brands, the booths brimmed with an incredible selection of clothing, jewelry, stickers, and of course, fierce wigs!
Another exciting feature was the LIVE taping of “Touch Ups with Raven,” featuring award-winning makeup artist Raven and special guest La Grande Dame. This WOW Presents Plus series is set to air later this year.
To cap off a phenomenal day, an after-party served up electrifying performances from global queens, including La Grande Dame and Pandora Nox.
