Returning to New York in full force from 12-16 May 2023, the buzzy fair remains the standard for procuring top quality European works in the New World.

Returning to its grand Park Avenue Armory location, TEFAF (The European Fine Arts Foundation) brings over 91 distinguished galleries together to share a stunning body of museum-quality modern and contemporary art along with exquisite jewelry, timeless antiques, and captivating designs. From May 12-16, 2023, visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in a visual feast of artistic marvels and enjoy plenty of champagne by Ruinart. Ruinart, long a supporter of the arts, is also celebrating the works of Eva Jospin, who is the brand’s Carte Blanche artist for 2023.

To be sure, an endless parade of Birkins and Rolexes will file though the hallowed 55,000 square foot Wade Thompson Drill Hall and period rooms this weekend, exploring and shopping for both established artists and hidden gems. Bewildering in scope and broad in taste, there is something for everyone.

Bart Drenth, the Global Managing Director, expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s wonderful to return to the Park Avenue Armory and be part of New York’s incredible art scene. Each year brings a unique charm, and collaborating with this esteemed list of exhibitors to present museum-quality pieces is truly thrilling. Our aim is to continue TEFAF’s legacy of sharing awe-inspiring objects that ignite the passion of art enthusiasts from all corners of the world.”

In addition to the magnificent displays, the fair features a captivating lineup of on-site programming, showcasing prominent voices in the global art world, including events like The Art of Connoisseurship: Cultivating Expertise in the 21st Century and The Future of Classicism, Reimagining Tradition in Contemporary Architecture and Design.

To complement the in-person event, TEFAF Online runs concurrently, allowing art lovers worldwide to explore a selection of the masterpieces on display right from their device.

With a lineup boasting 78 returning dealers and 13 new additions, the 2023 edition of TEFAF New York is an extraordinary showcase. Representing 13 countries, these prestigious galleries bring a diverse and breathtaking selection of artworks to the heart of New York. Visitors can anticipate an enriching and immersive experience, surrounded by the finest creations the art world has to offer.

TEFAF New York runs from now until May 16th, 2023 at The Park Avenue Armory, located at 643 Park Avenue
NY 10065. Tickets from $55 for regular admission and $25 for eligible students at TEFAF’s website.
