The salon is centrally located at 5 N Station Plaza, right across the street from the LIRR. There are also many great eateries in the area. When we entered Airbar, it boasted a clean and welcoming environment.
Founded by Jessica Ramos in November 2019, the salon offers a variety of blowouts like AirWave, Air Curl, Air Straight, Blowout touch-ups, kids blowouts, Olaplex, IGK, Express Curls, Washes, Braids, and Up-do’s. Jessica’s goal is to make people feel good about themselves and we had a fantastic experience with Olympia! Be sure to ask for her. She does hair and make-up and also happens to be our Beauty editor.
For hair care, Airbar offers an IGK Cleansing walnut scrub, an IGK 3 minute hydration hair mask, and IGK expensive hi-shine topcoat, spray root touch up, and Brazilian Karatin treatments.
Airbar also does haircuts, bangs, girl haircuts, hair extensions, makeup, and lashes! They are really reasonably priced, which makes them accessible for anyone who is celebrating a special occasion. They also have great wedding packages and a Girl Gang Membership. For $60 a month, you can get two blowouts. Airbar also does custom private events.
