Forget all the division and tension in our society today. Diverse music talent and lovers being inspired by flow is what Resonator Fest is all about! Creators Benjamin Chin and Zaven Embree of Resonator Arts and Entertainment put on their 4th annual Resonator Festival on October 5th at the National Sawdust music venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
This all-day music festival is unlike your ordinary festival. From 3:30 to midnight, concert-goers got the chance to grab drinks, vegan, and soul food to rock out, and network with performers and other music lovers. Collaborating to vibrate in a whole new way, Benjamin and Zaven, mixed and matched talent for an even louder message. Along with the completion of music and business workshops leading up to the performance, your favorite emcees, and songwriters, were paired with your favorite jazz bands, and orchestras, for their chance to Resonate!
This year’s line up featured unforgettable performances from QNA, Royal KhaoZ, AMYRA, Shouthouse, and Jahlani Roberts and the Steel Pan Drums. Performers and consumers alike both described how significant and life-changing it was to be on stage, and to witness the harmonic synchronicity! Although the Resonator fest is a fairly new development, the performing artists have already experienced and noticed the immediate impact of being a part of the Resonator arts and entertainment stage! When asked what being a Resonator meant to them, artists agreed “to resonate is to be conscious in your messaging, to stay inspired, stop overthinking, and allow your complex layers to express themselves freely in a world where there are always forces trying to stop emotion and creativity!”
On a quest to have no talent left behind, there is no telling what’s in store for the future of Resonator Fest, but I would suggest becoming a member now!
